Health & Safety – it’s part of our culture
Flowline actively adopts initiatives that increase the Health & Safety of our team, our partners and the public. We have an ethos of getting the job done, but getting it done safely.
We promote the reporting of near misses, unsafe acts/conditions and incidents by using specialist FieldViewer App software. This allows operatives to report incidents in a few seconds and senior staff to have oversight at all times.
We undertake robust health and safety investigations by TOPSET trained personnel with action-oriented outcomes. This has included introducing paperless audits and DSE Risk Assessments.
We carry out thorough inductions for all new staff including Drug and Alcohol Tests, and occupational health assessments.
We have invested in providing the latest confined space equipment and ensure our teams carry out the highest levels of training for these tasks.
We have empowered our staff to be able to take time to look at the task, carry out a Point of Work Risk Assessment and if needed stop the work and ask advice.
We are members of NADC (National Association of Drainage Contractors) and both our Commercial Director and Operations Director take part in meetings where industry best practice is discussed.
At the heart of what we do . . .
People development is at the heart of what we do, and Flowline has a robust and sustained training program, from basic to the most advanced skills.
